Secondly today, for good measure..... :-)

Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

1/2 cup margarine

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1 unbeaten egg

1/2 cup peanut butter

1 tbsp. water

3/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Sift 1 cup of flour, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. salt. Beat sifted ingredients with a rotary or

electric mixer. Add dry, sifted ingredients to creamed, mixed ingredients. (the previous step is

optional) Chill dough 2 hours. Form round balls. Place on desired cookie sheets. Press with fork dipped

in flour. Bake at 325 degrees F. in your preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes a perfect snack,

again with a glass of milk or your favourite beverage; something light and simple, even for a nice

summer day.
