Secondly today, for good measure..... :-)
Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 unbeaten egg
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tbsp. water
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Sift 1 cup of flour, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. salt. Beat sifted ingredients with a rotary or
electric mixer. Add dry, sifted ingredients to creamed, mixed ingredients. (the previous step is
optional) Chill dough 2 hours. Form round balls. Place on desired cookie sheets. Press with fork dipped
in flour. Bake at 325 degrees F. in your preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes a perfect snack,
again with a glass of milk or your favourite beverage; something light and simple, even for a nice
summer day.
More light and simple recipes to come before summer ends, then some holiday specific dishes heading into this autumn and winter, my Christmas blog posts here will not commence until late November after America's Thanksgiving, or December 1st. Your comments are always welcome.
