Secondly to start this week, yet another easy light classic. :-)

Fry's Cocoa Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients:

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup butter (or margarine)

1 cup Fry's Cocoa

2 cups white sugar

4 eggs

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/2 tsp. almond extract

1 cup chopped nuts (use walnuts if preferred)

Directions:

Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Melt butter (or margarine) in a large

saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa. Blend in sugar, eggs and extracts. Then, blend in dry

ingredients and chosen nuts. Pour batter into greased 13 by 9 by 2 inch rectangular baking pan. Bake in

preheated oven at 350 degrees F. for 30 to 35 minutes, then let cool. Cut into squares, chill and enjoy as

a simple dessert or snack with your favourite beverage. Originally made in May of 2012, they are

absolutely delicious, I guarantee it.
